General warranty conditions

 

§1. General provisions

  1. The guarantor is TimberCraft company based in Poręba Wielka, NIP: 7372133304, REGON: 383680280, hereinafter referred to as the "Guarantor."
  2. The warranty covers only physical defects arising from causes inherent in the product at the time of its delivery to the Buyer.
  3. The warranty is valid in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
  4. The warranty period is:
    • wooden sauna construction – 24 months,
    • equipment elements supplied by external manufacturers (stoves, controllers, lighting, electrical devices) – according to the warranty of their manufacturers,
    • consumable elements – are not covered by the warranty.

 

§2. Conditions for the validity of the warranty

The condition for maintaining the warranty is:

  1. using the sauna according to the user manual;
  2. performing regular maintenance and care of the wood;
  3. ensuring proper ventilation of the interior;
  4. maintaining the efficiency of the electrical installation;
  5. placing the sauna on a substrate that meets the manufacturer's requirements;
  6. immediate reporting of any noticed defects.

 

§3. Natural properties of wood

The warranty does not cover natural characteristics of wood, in particular:

  • change in wood color due to weather conditions;
  • graying of wood;
  • presence of knots;
  • minor surface cracks;
  • twisting, shrinking, and swelling of wooden elements due to changes in temperature and humidity;
  • release of resin;
  • differences in the structure, grain, and color of the wood;
  • minor deformations of wooden elements that do not cause a loss of functionality of the product.

 

§4. Exclusions from warranty liability

The warranty does not cover defects and damages resulting from:

  1. improper use of the product;
  2. failure to follow the user manual;
  3. lack of regular maintenance of the wood;
  4. use of inappropriate chemical agents;
  5. improper preparation of the substrate;
  6. ground subsidence;
  7. mechanical damage occurring after acceptance of the product;
  8. force majeure events, including:
    • storms,
    • hurricanes,
    • floods,
    • fires,
    • lightning,
    • excessive snowfall;
  9. flooding of the product;
  10. improper transport organized by the Buyer;
  11. self-repairs, modifications, or alterations;
  12. installation of additional equipment without the manufacturer’s consent;
  13. improper execution of the electrical connection;
  14. power surges in the electrical network;

 

§5. Scope of the Guarantor's liability

  1. The Guarantor's liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective element.
  2. The method of removing the defect is determined solely by the Guarantor.
  3. The Guarantor may at its discretion:
    • repair the element,
    • replace the element,
    • provide a replacement element,
    • remove the defect on-site.
  4. Replaced elements become the property of the Guarantor.
  5. The warranty does not cover costs:
    • dismantling of installations carried out by third parties,
    • preparing the area,
    • renting equipment,
    • lost profits,
    • downtime in business activities,
    • costs of accommodation, travel, or other indirect expenses.

 

§6. Complaint submission procedure

  1. The warranty claim should include:
    • order or invoice number,
    • description of the problem,
    • photographic documentation.
  2. The Guarantor may request additional photos or recordings.
  3. The Guarantor may refuse to accept the claim until the required documentation is received.
  4. The Buyer is obliged to allow the inspection of the product.

 

§7. Limitations of liability

  1. Minor aesthetic imperfections that do not affect the functionality of the sauna do not constitute grounds for a claim.
  2. Slight dimensional deviations resulting from the wood production technology do not constitute a defect.
  3. The Guarantor is not liable for the consequences of improper preparation of the sauna's foundation.
  4. The Guarantor is not liable for damages resulting from further use of the product after a defect has been revealed.

 

§8. Inspections and maintenance

  1. The Buyer is obliged to perform maintenance according to the user manual.
  2. At the request of the Guarantor, the Buyer should present documentation confirming maintenance has been performed.
  3. Failure to maintain may be grounds for refusing to acknowledge the warranty claim.

 

§9. Final provisions

  1. The warranty is a voluntary commitment of the Guarantor.
  2. The warranty does not exclude, limit, or suspend the Consumer's rights arising from applicable laws.
  3. In matters not regulated, Polish law applies.

  4. The warranty period is:
    • timber structure of the sauna – 24 months
    • equipment components supplied by third-party manufacturers (stoves, controllers, lighting, electrical devices) – in accordance with the warranty of their respective manufacturers
    • consumable components – not covered by warranty
§2 Warranty conditions

Maintaining the warranty requires:

  1. use of the sauna in accordance with the user manual;
  2. carrying out ongoing maintenance and care of the timber;
  3. ensuring adequate interior ventilation;
  4. keeping the electrical installation in working order;
  5. placing the sauna on a base that meets the manufacturer's requirements;
  6. reporting any noticed defects without delay.
§3 Natural properties of timber

The warranty does not cover the natural characteristics of timber, in particular:

  • colour change in timber due to weathering;
  • greying of the timber;
  • presence of knots;
  • minor surface cracks;
  • twisting, shrinkage and swelling of timber elements resulting from changes in temperature and humidity;
  • resin secretion;
  • differences in grain structure, grain pattern and colouring of the timber;
  • minor deformations of timber elements that do not cause loss of product functionality.
§4 Warranty liability exclusions

The warranty does not cover defects and damage arising from:

  1. improper use of the product;
  2. failure to follow the user manual;
  3. lack of regular timber maintenance;
  4. use of inappropriate chemical products;
  5. improper preparation of the base;
  6. ground subsidence;
  7. mechanical damage occurring after handover of the product;
  8. force majeure, including:
    • gale-force winds, hurricanes, floods, fires
    • lightning strikes
    • excessive snowfall
  9. flooding of the product;
  10. improper transport arranged by the Buyer;
  11. self-repairs, alterations or modifications;
  12. installation of additional equipment without the manufacturer's consent;
  13. improper connection to the electrical supply;
  14. power surges in the electrical network.
§5 Scope of the Warrantor's liability
  1. The Warrantor's liability is limited exclusively to the repair or replacement of the defective component.
  2. The method of remedying the defect is decided solely by the Warrantor.
  3. The Warrantor may, at its own discretion:
    • repair the component
    • replace the component
    • supply a replacement component
    • remedy the defect at the place of use
  4. Replaced components become the property of the Warrantor.
  5. The warranty does not cover the costs of:
    • dismantling enclosures installed by third parties
    • site preparation
    • equipment hire
    • lost profits and business downtime
    • accommodation, travel or other indirect expenses
§6 Warranty claim procedure
  1. A warranty claim should include:
    • the order or invoice number
    • a description of the problem
    • photographic documentation
  2. The Warrantor may request additional photographs or recordings.
  3. The Warrantor may decline to accept a claim until the required documentation has been received.
  4. The Buyer is obliged to allow an inspection of the product to be carried out.
§7 Limitations of liability
  1. Minor aesthetic imperfections that do not affect the functionality of the sauna do not constitute grounds for accepting a warranty claim.
  2. Minor dimensional deviations arising from timber production technology do not constitute a defect.
  3. The Warrantor is not liable for consequences arising from improper preparation of the sauna installation site.
  4. The Warrantor is not liable for damage resulting from continued use of the product after a defect has been identified.
§8 Inspections and maintenance
  1. The Buyer is obliged to carry out maintenance in accordance with the user manual.
  2. At the Warrantor's request, the Buyer should provide documentation confirming that maintenance has been carried out.
  3. Failure to carry out maintenance may constitute grounds for rejecting a warranty claim.
§9 Final provisions
  1. The warranty is a voluntary commitment on the part of the Warrantor.
  2. The warranty does not exclude, limit or suspend any rights of the Consumer arising from applicable law.
  3. Matters not regulated herein are governed by Polish law.
